NBC News reported today (11/21/2019) that a woman in Salt Lake City, Tilli Buchanan was charged with three counts of misdemeanor lewdness involving a child in February. These charges stem from her step children ages 9 through 13 who saw her in their home topless. Tilli states she and her husband had taken off their shirts to keep their clothes from getting dusty while they worked in their garage.
Now, Utah really is in the stone age because it’s one of a handful of immature states where even a mere glimpse of a woman’s breast while feeding a baby is a crime. The other states in the closet are Indiana & Tennessee. Give me a break people!
In this climate of sensitivity and equality a woman’s chest is still an issue? I think that we have NO business contemplating constitutional amendments until we can get the original prejudice under control in America. Grow UP!
Attorneys for Tilli Buchanan argue that the law is unfair because it treats men and women differently for baring their chests. They are asking a judge to overturn her misdemeanor lewdness charges and declare that part of the law unconstitutional.
How can such an immature society such as our even survive? I was raised that my body is nothing to be ashamed or and certainly not LEWD. I frequently saw my parents naked and it NEVER alarmed me. I was not raised to be put off by someone’s body in this manner. I raised my children the same. Get a grip people….
